Job Description:

Fabricates, adjusts, and operates standard and special types of machine tools.

1. Sets up and operates machine tools.

2. Fits and assembles parts to make or repair metal parts, mechanisms, tools or machines.

3. Applies knowledge of machining, shop mathematics, metal properties and layout and machine procedures.

4. Works from blueprints, engineering sketches, written instructions or manuals.

5. Verifies dimensions and alignment with measuring instruments.

6. Runs tests of new or repaired machines to diagnose malfunctions.

7. Participates in special projects as required.


1. Requires a High School Diploma or GED.

2. Technical or vocational training preferred.


1-3 years of related machining experience.

Ability to obtain a security clearance. Willing to work 2nd shift. Overtime may be required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
